Works with iJewel3D
The CAD programs, file formats, website platforms and other tools that work with iJewel3D.
CAD programs
| Program | How it connects |
|---|---|
| Rhino | Upload the 3DM file directly. The Rhino plugin also sends the open model from Rhino. |
| MatrixGold | An integration sends the model from the CAD viewport to the iJewel platform. |
| Other CAD programs, for example 3Design and Fusion 360 | Export the model in a supported file format. Then upload the file. |
| Blender | Export the model as a GLB file. Then upload the file. |
The Rhino plugin exports geometry only. You apply the materials in the web editor.
File formats

| 3DM | The Rhino format. It keeps the layers, and you assign materials by layer. |
| GLB, GLTF | The 3D format for the web. The viewer shows it directly. |
| FBX, OBJ | The platform accepts these formats for upload. |
| STL | It has geometry only, with no materials and no layers. |
| VJSON | A scene settings file from Playground. |
| HDR, EXR | Environment maps for the light in a scene. |
