For designers
How a jewellery designer or CAD studio uses iJewel3D to get client approval and to show finished work.
You make CAD models for goldsmiths, manufacturers, retailers and brands. You have two tasks. First, you get the client to approve the piece. Then, you show your finished work.
Client work
A screenshot of the CAD viewport does not show the idea well. A rendered image shows only one view. On the iJewel platform, you upload the model, set the materials and send a link. The client turns the piece on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
Commissioned work is not portfolio work. A file on the iJewel platform is private until you share it. You can invite a person by email, with the role can view or can edit. If your plan includes encryption, you can also protect a model.
Showcase
iJewel Design at ijewel.design is a public showcase for designers. Your profile shows your designs in live 3D. For each model, you select who can see it: Public, Unlisted, Private or Protected. Other members can like, follow and comment.
iJewel Design has its own account. You can import your iJewel Design projects into the iJewel platform.
