Changed in the background ​

The configurator editor did not save your change, because the configurator changed somewhere else.

Symptom ​

The editor shows the message Changed in the background: "This configurator was changed in another tab, in Playground or by another person after you opened it. Your last changes are not saved."

Cause ​

The editor checks that nobody changed the configurator since you opened it. One of these changed it:

  • the same configurator in a second tab,
  • a teammate who edits it at the same time,
  • a change of its materials in Playground.

Fix ​

Step 1 of 3
  1. Decide which version you want to keep.
  2. Select one of the three buttons:
    • Load the latest drops your last changes and opens the configurator as it is now.
    • Overwrite with my changes saves your version over the other version. The other changes are lost.
    • Keep editing closes the message and writes nothing. The next change asks again.
  3. To prevent the message, open each configurator in one tab only. After a change in Playground, select Load the latest.

If the problem continues ​

Contact support. Send the link to the configurator and tell us if somebody else edits it.
