A configurator shows over my model ​

Material option buttons show over the model because the file contains configurator data, and you can remove or hide them.

Symptom ​

Material option buttons show over the model in your embed or on your store page. You did not want these options.

Cause ​

The model file contains configurator data. The viewer shows a configurator when the file has this data.

Fix ​

Remove the configurator data from the file. Playground and the editor in the iJewel platform are the same editor, so you can use one or the other.

  1. Open the model in the editor.
  2. Select the object that has the configurator.
  3. In the right panel, open the Configurator tab.
  4. Find the Material Configurator section.
  5. Select Remove Completely.
  6. Save the model.
  7. If your store has its own copy of the file, replace that copy with the new file.
  8. Load your page again and make sure that the buttons do not show.

This step deletes the options

Remove Completely deletes the configurator from the object. Visitors then cannot change the material of that object.

Keep the options and hide the buttons

If iJewel hosts the viewer on your domain, you can keep the data and hide the configurator. Open Settings → Apps, embed and API → Domains. In the ⋯ menu of the domain, select Domain settings, and open Viewer Settings. Then set Show Configurator to off and select Save changes. If your developer uses the SDK, the viewer option showConfigurator does the same.
