AR button

Turn on the AR button so that visitors can see a ring on their hand in the viewer.

The AR button starts Try-On in the viewer. The visitor opens the camera in the browser and sees the ring on their own hand. An app is not necessary.

The button shows only when the saved project has Try-On turned on.

Before you start

  • Try-On works with rings.
  • Try-On is in each plan and shows the iJewel3D attribution.
  • The page that shows the viewer must use HTTPS.
  • If your website shows the viewer in an iframe, the iframe must have camera permission. Ask your web developer.

Turn on the AR button

Step 1 of 9
  1. Select the ring model in your file list.
  2. Select Open in, then Editor. As an alternative, select Edit in Playground.
  3. Open the Try-On settings.
  4. Turn on Enable AR.
  5. Select Enter Setup.
  6. Fit the ring to the cylinder. Refer to Prepare a Try-On project.
  7. Select Exit Setup.
  8. Save the project.
  9. Reload the page that shows the viewer.

If the AR button does not show

The project can have a saved fit while Try-On stays off. Then the viewer shows no AR button. The cause is not your account or your plan.

Step 1 of 5
  1. Open the model in the editor.
  2. Open the Try-On settings.
  3. Turn on Enable AR.
  4. Save the project again.
  5. Reload the page that shows the viewer.

Hide the attribution watermark

On your own domain, the camera view shows an iJewel3D attribution watermark. To hide the watermark, purchase Try-On for the domain. Then open Settings → Apps, embed and API → Domains. In the ⋯ menu of the domain, select Domain settings, turn on Enable TryOn and select Save changes.
