The evaluation watermark shows
The mark iJewel3D Evaluation Version shows when the hostname of your website is not registered for the SDK.
Symptom
The viewer on your website shows the mark iJewel3D Evaluation Version. The browser console also shows a license warning.
Cause
Your website uses the SDK, and the hostname of the website is not registered. The license is tied to the domain, and the viewer checks the domain automatically. A license key is not necessary and has no effect.
Fix
- Open the page that shows the mark.
- Look at the address bar and write down the exact hostname, for example
shop.example.com. - In the iJewel platform, open Settings → Apps, embed and API → Domains.
- Make sure that this exact hostname is in the Domain column of the table.
example.comandwww.example.comare different hostnames. - If the hostname is not in the table, select Add domain.
- Add the hostname with Hosting set to Your website hosts the viewer. Refer to Register a domain for the SDK.
- Do not add a license key to the code. Old code samples show
setKey(), but this call does nothing now. - Publish the website.
- Open the page in a private browser window and look for the mark again.
All 9 steps are done.
Other iJewel3D marks
A round badge at the bottom left of an iframe embed is a different mark. An iJewel3D logo while the model loads is also a different mark. Refer to Whitelabel and branding.
The message "No license key found for" a hostname
This message names the hostname that the viewer sent for the license check. That hostname is not in your domain table. Add that exact hostname with Hosting set to Your website hosts the viewer. A staging or theme-preview hostname, such as your-store.myshopify.com, is a different hostname from your live store. Register it too if the viewer must work there.
