Upload a model ​

Upload one or more 3D files to the iJewel platform with drag and drop or with the New button.

You can upload files from Home or from a folder in My Drive. The platform converts a Rhino 3DM file for the web when you upload it.

Before you start ​

  • You are signed in to the iJewel platform.
  • The file has a supported format. Refer to Supported file formats.
  • The file is smaller than the limit of your plan. Refer to File limits.
  • One upload can contain a maximum of 1000 files.

Upload with drag and drop ​

Step 1 of 6
  1. Open Home, or open a folder in My Drive.
  2. Drag the files from your computer onto the page.
  3. Release the files.
  4. If the upload settings open, set the options.
  5. Select the upload button, for example Upload 1 file.
  6. Wait until the upload is complete.

On Home, you can also select browse and choose the files.

Upload with the New button ​

Step 1 of 7
  1. Open a folder in My Drive.
  2. Select New.
  3. To upload files, select Upload files.
  4. To upload a full folder, select Upload folder.
  5. Choose the files or the folder on your computer.
  6. Set the options in the upload settings.
  7. Select the upload button, for example Upload 1 file.

If a file with the same name exists ​

If the folder already contains a file with the same name, the dialog You already have this file opens. The platform asks about one file at a time. Select Apply to all to use the same choice for the other files.

ChoiceResult
Replace itThe new file replaces the old file. Its links, shares and tags stay. Select Upload after the choice.
Keep bothThe platform keeps the old file and uploads the new file with a number after the name.
Skip this fileThe platform does not upload this file.

Your choice applies only to this file, unless you tick Apply to all.
