Folders and tags
Make folders, add tags to files and restore deleted files in My Drive.
Folders keep your catalogue in order. Tags let an embed or a configurator find the correct model.
Before you start
- You are signed in to the iJewel platform.
- My Drive is open.
Make a folder
- Select Add new.
- Select New Folder.
- Enter the folder name.
- Confirm the name.
All 4 steps are done.
You can also right-click an empty area and select Create Folder. Two folders in the same location cannot have the same name.
Rename a file or folder
- Right-click the file or the folder.
- Select Rename.
- Enter the new name.
- Select Update.
All 4 steps are done.
Locked files and folders
Lock and Unlock show in the right-click menu only when your role is Admin. An account with a different role does not see them.
You cannot make a folder in a locked folder. You cannot move or copy files into a locked folder.
Add tags to a file
- Right-click one file.
- Select Edit Tags.
- Type a tag in the Add tag field.
- Press Enter.
- Select Save.
All 5 steps are done.
Edit Tags shows only when you select one file and the file is not locked.
Tags have an effect in these places:
- An embed can find a public model by its tag.
- The Ring Configurator uses tags such as
shape:roundandsize:1ctto filter the heads.
Delete and restore
- Right-click the file.
- Select Move to bin.
- To get the file back, open Bin in the sidebar.
- Right-click the file there.
- Select Restore.
All 5 steps are done.
With a personal plan, you cannot delete a folder that contains files. Move or delete the files first. With an organization plan or on an enterprise instance, the folder and its files go to the Bin.
One action can delete a maximum of 1000 files.
File list
To get a list of the files in a folder, right-click the folder and select Export as CSV.
